We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return or exchange:

• Items must be unused, in original condition, and able to be returned to our shelf for future sale
• Proof of purchase is required

To start a return or exchange, please email orders@meanwhilebackonthefarm.com with your order number, a brief description of the request, and whether you’re seeking a return or exchange. We’ll respond quickly to confirm eligibility and next steps.

Please note:

• All custom and personalized items are final sale

We stand behind the quality of our work. Our bags are handcrafted to last, and we offer a two-year craftsmanship guarantee from the date of purchase with proof of purchase.

This guarantee covers defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover regular wear and tear from everyday use.

Examples of wear and tear that are not considered defects include:

• Natural markings or variations in leather
• Dirt, stains, or spills
• Rain or water spots
• Natural aging, softening, or patina from regular use

Many signs of wear can be improved with proper leather care and conditioning. If you’re unsure whether an issue is a defect, please reach out—we’re happy to take a look.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method or shipping insurance for items valued over $75, as we cannot guarantee receipt without tracking.

• Shipped via USPS or UPS
• $9.95 flat rate for one item
• $2 for each additional item

This pricing helps us keep shipping costs as low as possible.

We’re happy to ship beyond the contiguous U.S. Please email orders@meanwhilebackonthefarm.com for a custom shipping quote, including Canada and other international destinations.

Processing Time
All orders are processed and shipped within 5 business days from the date your order is placed.

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you to confirm approval or denial of your refund.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 7 business days.
