Retail & Customer Service Specialist Position

About the Job
We’re looking for someone who can move seamlessly between customer interactions and behind-the-scenes work—bringing warmth, efficiency, and attention to detail to everything they do.
This is a full-time, in-person role at the heart of our brand experience. You’ll help customers find the perfect bag in our retail space, support online order fulfillment with care, and play a key role in the day-to-day flow of a small, fast-moving business.
At Meanwhile, every detail matters—from how a bag is styled on the floor to how it’s packed and shipped. If you’re someone who takes pride in thoughtful work, enjoys a hands-on environment, and thrives in a mix of customer-facing and operational tasks, you’ll fit right in.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role preferred
Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people
Detail-oriented with a take-pride-in-it work style
Organized, reliable, and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Appreciation for quality, craftsmanship, and small business
Your day-to-day will include:
Create a welcoming, on-brand in-store experience
Help customers find and style the right pieces
Pack and fulfill online orders with care
Keep the retail space clean, organized, and visually strong
Support inventory, restocking, and merchandising
Assist with events, open houses, and occational pop-up events.
