Your bag is proudly made in Lynchburg, Virginia using the finest materials in the world.

The canvas is treated with waxes and oils from a multigenerational formula. This treatment affords the fabric resistance to inclement weather and everyday use. The canvas will age and function similarly to leather. Its waxes will move around the bag creating character. To clean, wipe the canvas with mild bar soap and a damp cloth.

The leather handles and bottom are made out of English Bridle. The Leather is crafted from a 150 year old U.S. Tannery using ancient hand processing techniques and vegetable extracts. They tan hides in a natural way, using a time and labor-intensive process.  Natural variations, such as small scars and creases are more visible than in more processed leathers. These are features of Vegetable tanned leather, not flaws. With regular use, your leather will age gracefully, developing a rich patina and distinctive character.

The lining is well-known Liberty of London™ fabric which is inspired by nature, architecture and heritage. The bag has a exterior zipper, hanging pocket, and key clip on the inside. The Lining is laminated so you can wipe out.

Backpack & Crossbody straps are removable so you can wear on your forearm or as a hand tote.

We suggest for under 5'3" & 140 lbs to get the 36" cross body strap. Straps are measured to ends of swivel snaps.

We suggest for over 5'4" to get the 43" cross body strap. Straps are measured to ends of swivel snap.

Please do not wear against dark color denim. The Indigo that is used to create those inky, dark denim jeans that you love, is notorious for bleeding (e.g. transferring off and getting on other stuff). It can be really frustrating to find that your very favorite pair of jeans has stained your white furniture, new MEANWHILE BAG and even your skin.
